Founded in 1995, Sola Fide, which is Latin for "by faith alone," is a private elementary
Christian school. Parents send their children here with the knowledge they are in a safe environment where teachers know their
child, their needs and how to encourage them. At Sola Fide students from age two through eighth grade prepare for
tomorrow with challenging courses that are enriched with Christian teachings and morals. At Sola Fide, our small class sizes
enable us to truly know our students and help them develop their God-given abilities. Because of our flexible,
multi-grade classrooms, we are able to place students into groups of their peers based on ability and talent rather than
solely on age. And most of all, we are able to provide our students with the truth of
God's Word, the one thing that won't change no matter how far we look into the
future!
Sola Fide is also a part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). WELS churches operate over 300 elementary
schools and nearly 400 preschools. According to the U.S. Department of Education, WELS teachers and principals spend more
time in classroom instruction and in school-related student activities than any other school group in the United States. More
student-teacher contact leads to more learning and higher achievement. This rich heritage of education in Lutheran schools
is a big part of what makes Sola Fide a great school.
