Multi-grade classes.        Academic excellence.        Individual development.
A foundation built around Christ.

Founded in 1995, Sola Fide, which is Latin for "by faith alone," is a private elementary Christian school, providing students with an opportunity to develop individually in a multi-grade classroom environment where small class sizes, certified teachers, and a family atmosphere center around Christ and academic excellence.  Parents send their children here with the knowledge they are in a safe environment where teachers know their child, their needs, and how to encourage them.  It is a place where children love to learn.

Our Curriculum
Christ comes first in our daily activities through Word of God classes, devotions, and prayers.  All core subjects are taught in multi-grade classes, enabling students to be challenged academically and develop individually.  Our multi-grade classes reinforce what students have already learned and allow them to advance or receive additional guidance with classwork. Our curriculum is balanced with classes in art, physical education, music, drama, foreign languages, and technology.

Sola Fide's educational environment maintains high academic standards by currently averaging only 9 - 12 students per classroom. Parents send their children to our school knowing that each student gets the attention and nurturing they deserve.

Our school is accredited by the National Private Schools Accreditation Alliance, and even though our classes are small, we are part of the second largest private school system in the United States. We use a mix of publishers such as NPH ChristLight Saxxon, Houghton Mifflin, Scott Foresman, McMillan McGraw, Modern Curriculum Press, and Prentice Hall to name a few.  We test our students at the beginning of the school year using the Terra Nova standardized test, a nationally recognized test used throughout the country, so that we may better evaluate each students' level and teach accordingly.

Our Staff
We have an experienced and extremely dedicated group of certified teachers, administrators, and parent volunteers. Each teacher strives to create a supportive and challenging classroom atmosphere to encourage students to be their best using their God-given talents.

We prepare our students to be able to apply their academic knowledge and "live lives of love," so they may be successful as they advance from grade to grade, while here at Sola Fide and as they transition into private or public junior high school.  Beyond academics, our teachers daily reinforce the importance of knowing God's Word, strong values, and a caring heart.

Our teachers are in tune with each child, what they need, and how to encourage them.  Our parents are actively involved with our teachers in the development of their children, and we welcome parent participation.

Beyond the Classroom
Learning isn't limited to the classroom.  Experiential Learning Activities are part of a new program at Sola Fide developed by Mr. Luke Hartzell, Principal, who emphasizes, "Experiential learning opportunities play an important role in the overall education of children by reinforcing first hand what they are studying.  These multi-day trips and impromptu learning experiences help students better relate to classroom learning and let them understand their place in the world through use of their God-given talents and abilities."
